Amy has been a medical writer since 2015. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Indiana University and a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from University of Colorado, Boulder, where she developed skills writing primary research papers for peer-reviewed journals. After finishing a postdoctoral fellowship at Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center, Amy studied developmental psychology and wrote essays on attachment, child development, and parenting for wider audiences, including children’s service professionals, parents, and caregivers. As a medical writer, Amy has returned to her roots in the biological sciences. Amy finds researching and writing on a broad range of health-related topics to be stimulating, and is dedicated to providing clients with accurate, clear, evidence-based materials.
