Destiny has been a medical writer since 2005. She has been writing for most of her adult life and has been pleased to find herself able to adapt her skills to a number of different writing arenas. She has a master’s degree and has completed coursework toward a PhD in English literature. During her graduate studies, Destiny honed her abilities to conduct rigorous research, process complex information and ideas, and write at a high level. She also taught literature and composition at the University of Washington for several years. Over the years, she has volunteered her time as a tutor as well as a publicity/grant writer for non-profit organizations. Destiny finds working in medical writing interesting and exciting because of the constant innovation and intellectual challenge inherent to the field.
